Thank
you for visiting my website, and I hope you have had a great
day!
I am running for Justice
of the Peace, Precinct 5, Place 1.
We have a very diverse
community in Precinct 5--a community that mirrors the
melting pot called The United States of America!
Precinct 5 includes residents of all cultural ethic and
religious backgrounds: we are African-American, we
are Anglo, we are Asian and we are Hispanic.
Therefore, as the Justice of the Peace, Place 1, it becomes
absolutely necessary that the face looking out over the
Court at
6000 Chimney Rock Rd., can truly connect to our diverse
community. Here, justice MUST truly
be blind.
With such diversity in
our Precinct, our Justice of the Peace MUST promote
justice with Fairness,
Dignity
and Respect
for all residents of our community; anything less would
indicate a "disconnect" and a lack of understanding about
the residents of our beloved Precinct 5. The Justice
of the Peace must relate to the "common" woman or man who
stands before their court, with an understanding of their life
experiences in order to truly promote justice with
Fairness,
Dignity
and Respect!
The
Justice of the Peace are elected by the citizens of the
jurisdiction or precinct in which they live for this
particular reason: one must have an understanding of the
backgrounds, and common-life experiences of the people
served.
I ask that you stand with me as I seek the office of
Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5, Place 1 because Precinct 5
deserves a Judge that will demonstrate impartiality, without
regard to race or gender; who is courteous and attentive
towards the fine women and men standing before the court;
who follows the law; who promote a professional court
atmosphere; who rules decisively and timely, and who works
hard everyday and is fully prepared to handle the court's
business, daily.
Justice promoted with
courtesy is a rather easy thing to do, for it does not
cost a penny to be nice. So stand with me and let us
work together. As residents of Precinct 5, we deserve a
Justice of the Peace who will promote justice with
Fairness,
Dignity
and Respect!
Precinct 5 deserves a Justice of the Peace who can identify
and connect with the people!
